❓ What is CICADA404?

CICADA404 is a capture-the-flag (CTF) event designed to test your cryptography, web, OSINT, and reverse-engineering skills — wrapped in a story of secrets and puzzles inspired by Cicada 3301.

⚙️ How do I participate?

Simply register through the Student Registration page. Once the event begins, you’ll get access to challenges hosted on dedicated subdomains.

🧩 What kinds of challenges are there?

You’ll encounter categories like:

• Cryptography — decrypt the unbreakable.
• Steganography — uncover what’s hidden in plain sight.
• Web Exploitation — exploit the logic behind the code.
• Reversing — trace binaries to their original thought.

🚫 Are there any forbidden actions?

Yes. Do not attack the CTF platform, brute-force endpoints, or harm infrastructure. Respect the digital battlefield — it’s built for discovery, not destruction.

🏁 What is the flag format?

For every challenge the flag format will be specified . Case matters — and so does precision.

📜 Can we participate as a team?

NO!
